Introduced in 2006, the Solstice by Pontiac was a brand-new performance roadster. A new turbocharged trim level was added in 2007, offering a 260 horsepower engine, sport-tuned suspension and braking, and enhanced stability control. Nominal changes were made to optional packages for this model year, too. In 2008, OnStar was made standard across all trims, and an upgraded sound system with satellite radio debuted. A brand-new hardtop model graced 2009 showroom floors, with ABS, traction control, stability control and a limited-slip rear differential being offered as standard equipment.
A two-passenger sporty convertible, the 2008 Pontiac Solstice is a good looking car that offers loads of fun with your choice of a 173 hp 2.4L four-cylinder of a 260 hp turbocharged version of the same engine.
