Oldsmobile Intrigue Models and Intrigue History

Following the discontinuation of the Cutlass Supreme, Oldsmobile choose to go with the Intrigue instead in 1998. It was a sportier styled sedan that offered a long list of standard features, including next-gen airbags. In 1999, the engine was upgraded to a 3.5-liter twin-cam V6 that offered 215 hp. A new body color and updated badging was introduced for this body year as well. New 16 alloy wheels graced the Intrigue for 2000, with minor shuffling of the optional add-ons and trims taking place. Two new exterior colors were introduced in 2001, with more options being added to various trim levels. A CD player and child-seat anchors were added as standard features in 2002, with subtle changes being made to different trim levels.
