Nissan NVP Models and NVP History

The passenger version of Nissan's NV large van line-up touted itself as a modern commercial product when introduced in 2012. Constructed only on the NV3500 HD configuration, the passenger van's attention-grabbing pickup truck-like front was matched with stout maneuverability. Interior space for the Nissan NVP is presented through a four-row/12-passenger seating that can be easily reorganized to as many as 324 possible arrangements. Designed to best function as a shuttle, the NVP cabin features equipment excellently suited for professionals such as a large center console large enough for a laptop computer. A choice of two powerplants, a 4.0-liter V-6 and a 5.6-liter V-8 engine, offered with the Nissan NV Passenger van is accompanied by a five-speed automatic transmission. A Tow package optional on the V-8 powered Nissan NVP for the 2012 and 2013 model year was promoted to standard equipment for 2014 allowing the van to pull up to 8,700 pounds. Interior technology was given an upgrade for 2015 with the available NissanConnect system. The Nissan NVP is manufactured alongside its Titan pickup truck in Canton, Mississippi.
