Infiniti Q60 Convertible Models and Q60 Convertible History
Introduced as the G37 Convertible during the 2009 model year drop-top carries into 2014 as the Infiniti Q60 Convertible. Boasting a similar premium sport appearance as the Q60 Coupe, the Infiniti Q60 Convertible actually features unique construction beyond the vehicle's A-pillar that includes a wider rear track. The three-piece retractable hardtop can be completely opened or closed automatically in an approximate time of 30 seconds. The four-passenger interior of the 2014 Infiniti Q60 Convertible standard equipment includes HID headlights, leather seating, satellite radio and adaptive dual zone climate control. Paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission or six-speed manual gearbox, the 3.7-liter V-6 engine generates 325 horsepower for the base Q60 Convertible. Horsepower from the engine is bumped to 343 horsepower on a heavily sport-tailored Infiniti Q60 IPL Convertible. Along with its two-door coupe sister vehicle, no 2016 model year Q60 Convertibles are being produced. While the coupe is being revived as an all-new 2017 model, the Infiniti Q60 Convertible's future beyond 2015 has not been immediately announced.
