Chrysler Sebring Sdn Models and Sebring Sdn History

The Chrysler Sebring Sedan was created to appeal to individuals and families seeking a more upscale twist on the typical mid-sized four-door. One of three body styles offered under the Sebring, the sedan version was regarded as the most prevalent and desired by customers. For 2005, the Chrysler Sebring Sedan was offered as a base, Touring, Limited and a new TSi model. A 150-horsepower, 2.4-liter four-cylinder powerplant serving as the base engine on the 2005 Sebring featured variable valve timing and met Californias standards as a Partial Zero Emission vehicle.

On the base version of the Chrysler Sebring Sedan, standard equipment includes cloth seats with manual lumber, air conditioning, dual power mirrors and power windows. For the Touring and Limited versions of the mid-sized Chrysler sedan, a 2.7-liter V-6 engine generating 200 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of torque was standard equipment. New for the 2005 model year, the Sebring Sedan Limited model was upgraded with automatic headlights and automatic temperature control. Another addition to the 2005 Chrysler Sebring came with the new TSi trim level. Introduced during the 2005 calendar year, the six-cylinder powered Sebring TSi enhanced the driving experience of the Chrysler sedan by including a performance suspension, AutoStick shifter and anti-lock braking system with traction control. For 2007, the Chrysler Sebring Sedan received an all-new platform, new features and a complete restyle. A front end and hood reminiscent to the Chrysler Crossfire, the 2007 Sebring Sedan was powered by a more vibrant pair of engines.

The base vehicle’s 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine had its performance bumped to 173 horsepower while an all-new 3.5-liter V-6 produced 235 horsepower. The 2.7-liter V-6 engine also returned on the 2007 Chrysler Sebring Sedan capable of running E85 blended gasoline. Among new features on the 2007 Sebring Sedan was Chrysler’s brand-new MyGIG infotainment system.
