Cadillac CTS Wagon Models and CTS Wagon History

The first Cadillac wagon to be sold to the general driving public in North America, the CTS Wagon was indeed a unique sight from the luxury brand in 2010. Defined as a sport wagon by the luxury car builder, the new Cadillac body style provided a European flavor to a premium utility vehicle. The body shape employed a V-shaped deck with an integrated roof spoiler for a stylish, modern appearance. The 2010 Cadillac CTS Wagon was introduced with the choice of a 3.0-liter or a 3.6-liter V-6 engine featuring direct injection technology.

Similar to the sedan, the CTS Wagon line-up was propelled through either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive trains. A unique feature to the Cadillac wagon is massive cargo space. With 25 cubic feet behind the rear seat, the 2010 CTS Wagon offered up to 53.4 cubic feet of storage room when the rear passenger bench would be folded. At the rear, a power liftgate provided a sense of premium utility. For the 2012 model year, the Cadillac CTS Wagon received a host of enhancements. A more defined front grille and Bluetooth connectivity was included on all 2012 models. Optional on the Luxury and Premium trim versions of the CTS Wagon was a Touring Package adding high-class touches such as metal pedals and chrome door handles, microfiber suede-trimmed steering wheel and Midnight Sapele wood trim.

Raising maximum horsepower from 304 to 318 horsepower, a reworked 3.6-liter V-6 engine featured improvements such as a composite intake manifold and a re-engineered cylinder head design. A 270-horsepower remained the base engine for the Cadillac CTS Wagon. While an all-new Cadillac CTS Sedan was introduced for 2014, the Cadillac CTS Wagon remained on sale unchanged with exception given to some new exterior colors.
