The Speed trim level of the Bentley Continental GT premiered in 2009 as a performance-themed model of the ultra-luxury vehicle. Based on the Bentley Continental GT refined in 2011, the Continental GT Speed edition returned for the 2013 model year. Equipped with a twin-turbocharged, 6.0-liter W-12 engine, the 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed was influenced by a forceful 616 horsepower. Channeled through a close-ratio eight-speed automatic transmission and fed to the road by an all-wheel drive system, 616 horsepower allows the 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed to accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in four seconds.
