About Monterey

In 2004, Mercury unveiled the Monterey, making a bold stake into the minivan market share. It offered plenty of room, ample features and amenities, and was powered by a 4.2-liter V6 engine that was rated at 201 horsepower. The 2005 Monterey saw the addition of climate-controlled leather seats, and desirable optional add-ons like the AdvanceTrac stability control system and spoiler on the liftgate with optional powered liftgate. For 2006, minor updates were made to various trim levels. The 2007 model would remain unchanged, except that Mercury now offered a new drivetrain warranty of five years/60,000 miles for all models in their lineup.
