Built from the ground up by hand, the gorgeous and incomparable Maybach Landaulet landed in 2009, offering unsurpassed luxury and distinguished amenities for well qualified and financially endowed buyers. The only difference between it and the Maybach 62 S was the retractable roof in the rear (soft top), and the outlandish seven-figure price tag. It was powered by a bodacious 6.0-liter V12 engine that was rated at 604 horsepower. No major changes were made for 2010, but in 2011 the engine was beefed up to add 16 more horsepower, increasing the grand total to 620 hp. An optional rear 19 HDTV was also offered. The luxury supercar carried over to 2012 without any notable changes.
