In 2013, Lexus announced the ES 300h, a hybrid clone of its popular ES 300 series luxury car. It boasted a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that was combined with an electric motor, capable of producing 200 horsepower and making zero to 60 in about 8 seconds, considered fast for a hybrid vehicle. In 2014, Lexus added xenon headlamps to the ES 300h, as well as optional NuLuxe leatherette seating and ventilated seats. The carmaker now offered a new audio package for iPhone users, too.
