GMC Sierra Denali Classic Models and Sierra Denali Classic History
In the same year that an all-new GMC Sierra Denali has been introduced on the improved GMT900 platform, the previous generation version of the premium-equipped pickup truck continued to be offered. The GMC Sierra Denali Classic was a four-door crew cab based on the GMT800 chassis. Compared to the Sierra Classic, the Denali model stood out thanks to exterior touches such as a chrome mesh grille. Unlike the new 2007 Sierra Denali based on the GMT900 platform offered with rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive, the GMC Sierra Denali Classic model was only available with AutoTrac all-wheel drive technology. Engine power for the Sierra Denali Classic came from a 6.0-liter V-8 engine producing 345 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. Providing high-comfort accommodations befitting of luxury travel, the 2007 Sierra Denali Classic came equipped with leather seating for five passengers, dual-zone climate control and a Bose audio system. The GMC Sierra Denali Classic was sold for only one year.
