After a long period of possessing only one body style for the CTS-V, Cadillac added the coupe and wagon version of the high-performance luxury product for 2011. As for the continuation of the CTS-V Sedan, the 2011 model year brought some subtle improvements such as a new fender vent design and a standard rear-view camera system. Unchanged for 2011 was the CTS-V Sedans 556-horsepower, supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine. Engine power churns through either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission. The 2011 Cadillac CTS-V was rear-wheel driven with the extra performance touch of a limited-slip differential. Acceleration from 0 to 60 miles per hour is rated at around four seconds while the top speed is rated up to 191 miles per hour when the sedan is equipped with a six-speed manual transmission. A high-powered sport luxury sedan, the Cadillac CTS-V Sedan possessed a long list of standard equipment including Magnetic Ride Control, Brembo brakes and 19-inch forged aluminum wheels on the outside. Inside, the Cadillac sport sedan delivered an automatic climate control system, 10-speaker stereo system and leather upholstery with heated front seats. Optional on the Cadillac CTS-V is Recaro performance seats providing a more racing-inspired feel for front seat occupants. Along with some different exterior color choices, the 2012 model year CTS-V included Rainsense automatic windshield wipers as standard. Few changes were made to the Cadillac CTS-V between the 2012 and 2014 model year. While the CTS Sedan received new-generation design and equipment, the 2014 Cadillac CTS-V remained unchanged.
