About ATS

Responding to a luxury car marketplace seeking smaller vehicles, Cadillac introduced the ATS as the brands new entry-level product. Introduced during the 2012 model year, the Cadillac ATS sedan was launched as a modern challenger to the BMW 3 Series. Engine power for the 2013 Cadillac ATS presented a number of game-changing attributes associated with the luxury brand.

The ATS became the first Cadillac to offer a turbocharged engine through the inclusion of a 270-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. The turbocharged 2.0-liter as well as the 2.5-liter 200-horsepower engine was the first four-cylinder powerplants attached to a Cadillac vehicle since the 1914 model year. The 2.5-liter boasts the best fuel economy for the Cadillac ATS with an EPA-rated travel distance of 22 miles per gallon city and 33 miles per gallon highway. Peak power for the Cadillac ATS is derived from a 320-horsepower 3.6-liter V-6 engine. A six-speed manual and six-speed automatic transmission choice is offered on the small Cadillac. The 2013 ATS offered a rear-wheel and all-wheel drivetrain choice with all three engines. Sport suspension, Stabilitrak, push-button start keyless ignition and dual-zone climate control is standard on the 2013 Cadillac ATS sedan.

Available equipment included Cadillac CUE infotainment system operating from an eight-inch touchscreen. Cadillac CUE can be wirelessly paired with up to 10 Bluetooth devices and has slots for an SD card as well as USB devices. For 2015, the ATS line-up will be expanded with the inclusion of a two-door coupe body style.
