Available in North America as a wagon-like sportback since 2006, the Audi A3 was reinvented for its second generation. The 2015 appearance of the A3 lineup was led by the German brand's smallest sedan featuring a handsome exterior look that included standard xenon headlights and 17-inch wheels. With the debut of the A3 Sedan, buyers were presented a variety of choice to customers starting with powerplant options. Base equipped with front-wheel drive, the 2015 Audi A3 Sedan came with a turbocharged FSI 1.8-liter engine producing 170 horsepower. Available quattro all-wheel drive on the A3 Sedan would come with a more potent 220-horsepower, turbocharged FSI 2.0-liter power unit that supplies outstanding acceleration. Generating 150 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque, a 2.0-liter TDI diesel boasted a combined city/highway fuel economy rating of 36 miles per gallon. While an entry-level Audi product, the A3 Sedan included features such as leather seating and dual-zone automatic climate control as standard equipment. The Audi A3 Sedan was also among one of the first automobiles to introduce available 4G LTE connectivity provided through AT&T. In addition to a style refresh for 2017, the A3 Sedan gains availability of Audi's virtual cockpit system and standard pre sense front.
