The Nissan Kicks is the only SUV to go without notable changes for the year; most others see techie safety systems. New to the Pathfinder is a standard reverse sensing system for parking assistance and two additional USB ports, while some upper trim levels get adaptive cruise control and blind spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alerts. Adaptive cruise control, forward collision mitigation, and a rear door alert that sends a reminder to drivers to check the rear seat prior to exiting are now standard on the Armada. For the Rogue and Rogue Sport, standard automatic emergency braking, lane departure warnings, and the rear door alert keep passengers safe, while the Murano gets the same standard additions as Armada with some bonus styling tweaks.
