With one decade passing since Tesla Motors begin selling its first production car, the trendy all-electric luxury vehicle company is now considered part of the motoring mainstream. Previously targeting higher income customers with Model S sedan and Model X crossover, Tesla's newest Model 3 introduces the vehicle to a larger driving crowd. The all-electric four-door hatchback is planned to offer a 220-mile standard range model as well as a 310-miles long range version with rear-wheel drive or a dual electric motor all-wheel drive system. Automatic emergency braking and a 15-inch center touchscreen are included on all 2018 Tesla Model 3s while options consist of features such as a glass roof. The stylish Tesla Model X with rear passenger Falcon Wing doors and a smart air suspension is available with a consolidated lineup. The 60D and 90D versions of the electric crossover vehicle are no longer available leaving the 75D and 100D and performance-oriented P110D for 2018. No specific improvements relating to the 2018 have been announced for the Tesla Model S but software updates are likely through the year.
