Nissan's flagship performance car, the GT-R, is given a re-engineering for 2017. Featuring new bodywork complete with the Nissan "V-motion" grille, improved center dashboard layout and a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V-6 engine now generating 565 horsepower. An updated GT-R NISMO adds a new layer of factory-equipped performance modifications. The Nissan Armada is also all-new for 2017 based on a vehicle sold internationally as the Patrol. Built on a stronger frame than its predecessor model, the modernized style of the eight-passenger capacity 2017 Armada is accompanied by a potent 390-horsepower 5.6-liter Endurance V-8 engine joined to a seven-speed automatic transmission. Along with a refreshed exterior and interior design for 2017, the Nissan Rogue gains available Safety Shield technologies and a Platinum Reserve Interior Package. The mid-level Nissan crossover now includes a Rogue Hybrid model combining a 2.0-liter gasoline engine with an electric motor for fuel economy averaging 34 miles per gallon. Debuting last year as the diesel-powered Titan XD, Nissan's full-sized pickup truck is now offered with a gasoline-fueled Endurance V-8 engine. The 2017 Nissan Titan will be available as a Crew Cab with a Single Cab and King Cab variant expected to join. Truck buyers can also wait for an upcoming six-cylinder Nissan Titan. Also improvements of note with the 2017 Nissan lineup consist of a 188-horsepower Sentra SR Turbo as well as appointment changes for the Versa, Pathfinder and Maxima.
