Dodge's product line continues to perpetuate a consistent attitude of performance for 2017. The diverse trim choices for the Dodge Charger and Challenger have gained an update. Both heritage-invoking models, a new Charger Daytona and Challenger T/A can be equipped with the 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 or the 6.4-liter 392 HEMI engine. For 2017, all HEMI powered versions of the Dodge's large sedan and coupe sister car will feature Active Exhaust. The 707-horsepower performance-topping SRT Hellcat versions of the Charger and Challenger return for 2017 with added distinction through SRT badge coloring. As Fiat Chrysler Automobiles massively promotes the arrival of the all-new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica minivan, the Dodge Grand Caravan has been retained with a streamlined four-trim level selection. On 2017 model year Dodge Journey, Durango and Grand Caravan, a GT trim level makes a debut demonstrating some sporty tailoring. The 2017 model year represents the end of the road for the Dodge Viper. The final production run for the 645-horsepower American-built supercar will be marked by various special edition ACRs (American Club Racer) and a GTC edition each telling a chapter of the Viper's recent history with unique appearance details.
