Used 2016 FIAT 500 Prices
The Fiat 500 is offered in six trims, available in a convertible version, too. Don’t mistake its small size for it being light on the features, though. Base model outfitting includes 15” steel wheels, heated and powered side mirrors, manual adjustable driver seat, 50/50 split and fold rear seating, Uconnect system with 5” touchscreen console, Bluetooth/iPod/USB integration, voice command, and six-speaker audio system. Options and upgrades can add larger alloy wheels, larger touchscreen, upgraded audio system, sport-tuning, upgraded exhaust, painted brake calipers, sport seating, a larger engine, leather upholstery, glass roof, satellite radio, and more. Driving this car is an upgradable 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine that’s rated at 101 horsepower and 98 pound-feet of torque.Read more Read less
The Fiat 500 gets a few notable updates for 2016. A new Uconnect technology suite operates through a 5.0-inch touch screen, offering both Bluetooth compatibility and voice command integration. A new trim level dubbed Easy is also offered for 2016. It slots in just above the base Pop model, offering a few additional amenities such as a premium audio system and 15-inch alloy wheels, at a still reasonable price. Also new for 2016 is the retro-styled 1957 Edition, which treats buyers to unique styling cues like unique 16-inch wheels and throwback style FIAT badges. In addition, a bevy of new colors are also available for 2016.
Nimble, responsive driving feel; good gas mileage; Abarth model's track-ready performance; flamboyant exterior; practical, stylish interior
The FIAT 500 is a small 4-seater with cute looks and great fuel economy. It's relatively inexpensive, but does have some upscale pretentions, with some trims competing directly with rivals like the MINI Cooper S. Like much more expensive Italian cars, the FIAT 500 offers more customization potential than is typical for an inexpensive small car. With a FIAT Studio system at dealerships, buyers can customize with interior and exterior accessories, striping packages and more. FIAT 500 Abarth models also live up to the "small but wicked" approach that inspired the 1960s-era performance models before. The idea is to offer high performance in a small car, with a dash of exotic Italian personality. Safety is also a strong point for the 500; it's been named an Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) Top Safety Pick.
