2016 model year changes

The A5 lineup gets only some trim and equipment tweaks for 2016. The Prestige trim is dropped and its Bang & Olufsen stereo now comes standard on the Premium Plus. The RS5 will not be available for the 2016 model year.

Special features for 2016

The 2016 Audi A5 and its performance variant, the S5 are a family of compact luxury coupes and cabriolets. The biggest differences between the models are oriented around powertrains and performance hardware. The A5 lineup offers a competitive alternative to the BMW 3-Series, Cadillac CTS coupe and Infiniti Q50 coupe. In S5 form, it offers an excellent compromise between ride, comfort and performance, with 0-60 times of under 5 seconds. With the Audi Connect system and revised MMI controller and its live Google Earth maps, it has one of the best (and best-looking) infotainment systems.
The Audi A5 seats four and is available in both convertible and coupe styles with three trim levels to choose from. Well stacked in the base model, standard outfitting includes: 18” premium alloy wheels, powered tilt sunroof, xenon headlamps, LED daytime running lights, LED tail lamps, fog lamps, triple-zone climate control (automated), premium leather upholstery, powered front seating, Bluetooth/iPod/USB integration, 6.5” touchscreen with Audi’s MMI interface and a 10-speaker audio system. Upgrading can add-on things like a custom body kit, remote start, heated front seating, 14-speakerpremium Bang & Olufsen audio system, larger 7” touchscreen, GPS, rolling Wi-Fi, parking camera, collision mitigation system, sport-tuning, signature interior upholstery and more. Driving the A5 is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that is rated at 220 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque.
