The Kia Sedona minivan faces tough competition in a narrow segment from Toyota, Honda, Nissan and Chrysler, but it more than holds its own. With a range of trims offering every amenity and technology one could hope for, premium materials, innovative seating with room for eight, and an attractive starting price, the new Sedona is worth a look.
The Kia Sedona minivan comes in five trim levels and offers seating for eight. Standard outfitting consists of: 17” steel wheels, manual sliding doors (left and right side), foldable second-row seating, split and fold third-row seating, cloth upholstery, dual glove boxes, rear A/C vents, tilt and telescope steering wheel, iPod/Bluetooth/USB integration and four-speaker audio system. Upgrades and options can add: LED accents, alloy wheels, heated and powered side mirrors, touchscreen console, parking camera, powered and heated front seating, foglamps, leather upholstery, triple-zone climate control, premium eight-speaker sound system, LED tail lights, collision mitigation system, rear sunshades, powered sliding doors, and much more. Under the hood is a 3.3-liter V6 engine that makes 276 horsepower and 248 pound-feet of torque.
