Ford has always been a leader in the realm of versatile commercial vehicles, and the Transit is poised to carry that tradition far into the future. In fact, like the E-Series vans before it, the Transit has few rivals. With nearly unlimited configurations and intelligent powertrain options, including a 3.2L turbo diesel, EcoBoost V6, and LPG-compatible V6, the Transit is sure to satisfy the needs of anyone in the market for a full-size, do-anything, carry-everything van.
The Ford Transit Wagon is a large passenger van that’s offered in two trim levels with the ability to seat up to 15 persons. It offers several wheel base sizes and roof height levels as well. The base model features 16” steel wheels, 60/40 splitting side doors, tilting and telescoping steering wheel, parking camera and six-speaker audio system. Upgrades can add a chromed grille, upgraded audio system, 4” display console, rear A/C vents, rear map lights, reclining rear seats, larger wheel base, taller roof, sliding passenger doors, towing package, collision mitigation system, Bluetooth/iPod/USB integration with 6.5” display, and more. Powering this vehicle is an upgradable 3.7-liter V6 engine that generates 275 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque.
