A four-passenger, two-door hatchback car, you can choose from four trim levels that include: Beetle 2.5L, Beetle R-Line (turbocharged) and Beetle TDI (turbocharged diesel). The base model includes 17” alloy wheels, heated mirrors and wiper nozzles, power accessories, trip computer, iPod/USB interface and an 8-speaker surround sound system with Bluetooth connectivity. You’ll also get the newer Car-Net telematics system, too. Upgrades net you perks like a power sunroof, remote entry and ignition, 18” wheels, backup camera, Fender audio system, sports-tuned suspension and brakes, and even gaudier-looking gauges and faux carbon-fiber interior trim, amongst numerous other add-ons that are available. Choose from three different engines, which include: a 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine that makes 170 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque; a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 210 horsepower and 207 pound-feet of torque; and a turbocharged 2.0-liter diesel engine that makes 140 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque. The standard three-year/36,000 mile warranty can be upgraded to a longer term to offer more years of protection.
