The 2015 Tundra CrewMax has best-in-class legroom according to Toyota and offers the only reclining and sliding rear seat among pickups. The Tundra also offers one of the best-designed interiors, with plenty of storage space and easy access to the backseat area. The available 5.7L engine makes 381 horsepower and 401 foot-pounds of torque, with hauling and towing ability near the top of the segment.
The Toyota Tundra is a full-sized pickup truck that comes in either two or four-door versions, able to seat as many as five passengers when properly equipped. Five trim levels are offered: Tundra SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum and 1794 Edition. Well-equipped in the base model, standard equipment includes: 18” wheels (steel), blackened front and rear bumpers with signature grille, all-powered accessories, towing hooks, remote entry, heated and powered side mirrors, cloth seating, 40/20/40-split bench seat, Bluetooth/iPod/USB integration with 6.1” touchscreen interface, dual standard 12-volt power outlets and a four-speaker sound system. Upgrades can add map lights in the rear, chromed grille and bumpers, larger 7” touchscreen console with GPS, bucket seats, powered and heated front seats, larger wheels (up to 20” premium alloy), all-terrain tires, off-road tuned suspension system, skid plates, leather seating, powered rear sliding window, sunroof, premium 12-speaker JBL audio system and more. Three engines are available. These include: a 4.0-liter V6 engine that offers 270 horsepower and 278 pound-feet of torque; a 4.6-liter V8 engine that turns out 310 hp and 327 lb-ft of torque; or a beefy 5.7-liter V8 engine that is rated at 381 hp and 401 lb-ft of torque. Properly outfitted, the Tundra can tow over 10,000 pounds. Toyota offers a three-year/36,000-mile warranty.
