New 2015 Ram Truck 2500 Prices

The Dodge Ram 2500 is a heavy-duty truck that comes in three different cabs: Regular, Crew Cab and Mega Cab. Over half a dozen trims are available, variant to the cab size and wheelbase. The base Tradesman trim is outfitted with 17” wheels (steel), blacked-out bumpers and grilles (front and rear), 40/20/40-split bench, iPod and USB integration, faux leather upholstery, optional powered accessories, and a six-speaker audio system. Depending upon the cab level, trim selection and any optional add-on packages you choose, you can add features like larger wheels (up to 18” forged alloy), remote entry/start, trailer-to-brake controls, Bluetooth integration, 8.4” touchscreen console with parking sensors and backup camera, GPS system, towing hooks, skid plates, chromed out grilles, fog lights, standard 115-volt plug outlet, powered and heated front seats, wheel flares, two-zone climate control (automated), leather seating, sunroof and premium 10-speaker audio system. Three engines are available, determined by the trim level. These include: a 5.7-liter V8 engine that delivers 383 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque; a 6.4-liter V8 engine that turns over 410 hp and 429 lb-ft of torque; and a monstrous Cummins 6.7-liter turbocharged diesel engine that makes 350 hp and 660 lb-ft of torque. Properly equipped, the Ram Truck 2500 can tow over 16,000 pounds. Dodge offers a three-year/36,000-mile warranty on this truck.

The Ram HD was fully redesigned last year, so this year it only gets a couple of minor updates. Top-of-the line 3500 models, when equipped with the most powerful diesel engine, now make more torque. In addition, the maximum payload of those models has been increased as well, all the way up to 7,390 lbs.

Ram 2500 models are intended for the most extreme personal-towing needs, while the 3500 models are aimed at heavy commercial use by ranchers or construction crews. With diesel model's gains in fuel efficiency, as well as other maintenance-related improvements, running costs should be down versus these trucks' predecessors. Even compared to the other latest heavy-duty trucks, the Ram 2500 and 3500 HD models have some of the best-appointed, most luxurious and most attractive interiors, picking up much of the look and some of the high-line materials from the latest light-duty Ram trucks.
