2015 model year changes

The Mercedes-Benz GLA250 4MATIC luxury compact crossover is all-new for 2015. It shares its underpinnings with the CLA sedan, and it is powered by a turbocharged 2.0L 4-cylinder producing 208 horsepower and 258 foot-pounds of torque. Power is put to all four wheels through a 7-speed automatic with paddle shifters. A front-wheel-drive version is slated to appear later in the model year. Mercedes states the GLA250 returns a combined 27 mpg. A 355-horsepower GLA45 AMG version utilizing the same 2.0L four will do 0?60 mph in just 4.8 seconds, according to Mercedes.

Special features for 2015

Mercedes-Benz enters the increasingly crowded luxury compact crossover segment with the GLA-Class. Its sedan underpinnings and small stature make it a nimble performer, with favorable comparison against completion from BMW and Audi. The high-performance GLA45 AMG takes things to a different level, however, and nothing from any manufacturer can rival it.
