Special features for 2015

The MINI Cooper Coupe and Roadster models are among the smallest vehicles for sale in the U.S., yet they're true sports cars in many ways, offering quick acceleration and excellent, go-kart-like handling. The Roadster brings top-down thrills no matter how fast it's driven. MINI claims the coupe is the fastest-accelerating model from the brand ever and it has the highest top speed in the brand's history. Those who crave high performance will want to head straight to the John Cooper Works (JCW) Roadster and its stronger engine and additional performance upgrades. Even with its impressive performance, the JCW earns up to 35 mpg on the highway.

The Mini Cooper Roadster is stylish and compact two-passenger, two-door convertible that comes in three trims: Base, S and John Cooper Works (JCW). The standard equipment includes 16” alloy wheels, powered soft top, powered accessories, vinyl upholstery, Bluetooth/iPod/USB integration and a six-speaker audio system. Upgraded trims or added options include: larger 17” wheels, traction control, fog lights, custom stripes on the hood, sport-styled seating, turbocharged engine, Xenon headlamps, sport-tuned braking and suspension, sport body kit, remote entry/start, leather seating, custom trim accents (interior and exterior), climate control (automatic), 6.5” touchscreen command console with voice-control and a 10-speaker premium Harmon Kardon sound system. This roadster comes standard with a 1.6-literfour-cylinder engine that’s rated at 121 horsepower and 114 pound-feet of torque. This can be upgraded to a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that gets 181 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque; or a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 208 hp and 192 lb-ft of torque. The Mini Cooper Roadster is backed by a 48-month/50,000-mile warranty.
