Lincoln’s new small crossover vehicle, the 2015 MKC will refine the luxury car brand’s brand with front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive variants. The 2015 Lincoln MKC is powered by one of two EcoBoost four-cylinder engines. For two-wheel and all-wheel drive models, the 2.0 liter EcoBoost generates 240 horsepower. Offered only on all-wheel drive Lincoln MKC models, 2.3 liter EcoBoost produces 285 horsepower. The 2015 Lincoln MKC will be available in Premiere, Select and Reserve trim levels. The lower-tier Premiere version of the 2015 Lincoln MKC is exceptionally well equipped with safety and convenience features. Dual-zone climate control, 10-way power driver’s seat, cruise control, MyKey and a nine-speaker Lincoln Premium Sound System is standard on the 2015 MKC Premiere crossover. Safety and security features found on the 2015 Lincoln MKC consists of front, drive knee, side and curtain airbags, reverse sensing system, traction control, rear camera as well as SecuriLock anti-theft system. Content added with the progression to the Select trim includes 18-inch Luster Nickel wheels, power holding mirrors, ambient lighting and a 10-way power front passenger seat. The Lincoln MKC is an all-new model for 2015. The small luxury crossover shares its platform with the Ford Escape but is distinctively Lincoln, with sharp lines, an aggressive split twin grille, 19-inch wheels and luxury appointments throughout. It features either a 240-horsepower EcoBoost 2.0L 4-cylinder or potent 2.3L EcoBoost four making 285 horsepower, with both mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Leather and wood inlays create a plush yet sensible cabin, while an assortment of buttons and dials create a rich tactile experience. The new Lincoln MKC is available in either front-wheel or all-wheel drive and starts at $33,995.
