Special features for 2015

The GMC Sierra HD derives a lot of value from being extremely customizable. In its most basic form, the Sierra HD is a simple work truck, albeit an extremely capable one. With a base price of around $32,000, it's affordable enough that owners will feel comfortable using the truck in the utilitarian way it was intended. However there is plenty available beyond that, should buyers want something more upscale. Denali editions start at around $48,000 and offer plenty of luxury for those who want a truck that can both work hard and coddle its occupants.
The GMC Sierra 3500HD is one versatile truck that is offered in regular cab, double cab and crew cab with an available four-wheel-drive system and two bed sizes. Three trim levels are also offered: Work Truck, SLE, SLT and Denali. The base model offers 18” steel wheels, chromed front and rear bumpers, rubberized flooring covers, cloth or vinyl seating, 40/20/40-split front bench, powered accessories, a 4.2” screen (color) and a four or a six-speaker sound system (depending upon what base model is selected). A wide variety of options and upgrades are offered in different trim levels. These include things like alloy wheels, tinted windows, illuminated cargo area, remote entry and start, locking rear differential (automatic), 8” color touchscreen with Bluetooth/iPod/USB integration, OnStar, satellite radio, powered and heated front seats, fog lights, powered mirrors (folding), standard 110-volt household outlet, parking assist system, powered rear sliding window with built-in defogging, GPS, and a premium Bose surround sound system (to name a few of many available upgrades). Under the hood you will find a 6.0-liter V8 engine that cranks out 360 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. For power-hungry drivers, this can be upgraded to a turbocharged 6.6-liter diesel V8 engine that’s rated at 397 hp and 765 lb-ft of torque. Properly outfitted, the Sierra 3500HD can tow over 23,000 pounds. The truck comes with a three-year/36,000-mile warranty.
