Special features for 2015

The GMC Sierra HD derives a lot of value from being extremely customizable. In its most basic form, the Sierra HD is a simple work truck, albeit an extremely capable one. With a base price of around $32,000, it's affordable enough that owners will feel comfortable using the truck in the utilitarian way it was intended. However there is plenty available beyond that, should buyers want something more upscale. Denali editions start at around $48,000 and offer plenty of luxury for those who want a truck that can both work hard and coddle its occupants.
The GMC Sierra 2500HD comes in either regular cab, double cab or crew cab, offered in available four-wheel-drive with several trim levels to choose from, including: Work Truck, SLE, SLT and Denali. When outfitted with standard equipment, the truck offers 17” steel wheels, rubberized floor mats, vinyl or cloth seating, 40/20/40-split front bench, powered accessories, a 4.2” color display screen with USB and iPod connectivity, and a four or a six-speaker audio system. Up the trim level and you’ll get creature comforts like tinted windows in the rear, illuminated cargo box, remote entry, rear differential (automatic; locking), backup camera with 8” touchscreen console and Bluetooth integration, OnStar, Satellite radio, larger alloy wheels, powered and heated front seats, standard 110-volt plug outlet, chrome accents inside and out, GPS system, and a premium Bose audio system (just to name some of the many available options). Powering the Sierra 2500HD is a 6.0-liter V8 engine that produces 360 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque, also available in CNG. Buyers can upgrade this to a turbocharged 6.6-liter diesel V8 engine that makes 397 hp and 765 lb-ft of torque. When properly equipped, this truck can tow over 17,000 pounds. GMC offers a three-year/36,000-mile limited warranty.
