2015 model year changes

The Ford Focus gets a major refresh for 2015. New styling cues front and back change the look of the car while a new engine and new features also make an appearance for 2015. The new engine is a turbocharged 3-cylinder unit that should allow the Focus to achieve excellent fuel economy without compromising much power, thanks to its turbocharger. A rear view backup camera is now standard across the entire Focus range, while the high performance Focus ST has seen numerous suspension improvements to help it handle even better than before. Rounding out the notable changes are numerous improvements to the interior, particularly around the center console where the Focus now feels more refined for 2015.

Special features for 2015

The Ford Focus is a small car that offers a number of features otherwise seen in larger or more luxurious vehicles. For instance, the Focus is the first vehicle in its class to offer Active Park Assist, which can actually guide and steer the car into a parking space if the driver moderates speed with the brake. It's also the first small car to offer Ford's MyFord Touch system, which relies on a sophisticated touch-screen system and has advanced voice-command features and can even provide Wi-Fi for the car and the area surrounding. Technology aside, the new Focus stands out from the class for its excellent handling and poise, sporty driving feel and impressive fuel economy.

The compact Ford Focus has become an iconic symbol of the carmaker, and is offered in four trim levels: S, SE, ST and Titanium. Base equipment includes 15” wheels (steel), all-powered accessories, remote entry, and a four-speaker sound system. Upgrades will get you larger wheels (up to 18”), Bluetooth/iPod/USB integration, the 8” Sync touchscreen interface with GPS, backup camera and parking sensors, 60/40 split-folding seatback, special sport styled cloth or leather seating, disc brakes in the rear, heated seats in the front, two-zone climate control (automated), powered sunroof, remote start, vanity rear spoiler, aero body kit and much more. Zip along in a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that is rated at 160 horsepower and 146 pound-feet of torque. The Focus comes with a three-year/36,000-mile limited warranty.
