Special features for 2015

The 2015 Ford Escape is a sleek, rakish, modern design, yet its surprisingly roomy inside. Also surprising is how well the Escape responds and handles--as if it were a sport wagon. The Escape's powertrains are standouts in this class, both offering more power than you get elsewhere, plus excellent fuel economy. In terms of tech features, between MyFord Touch, an active park assist system and active-safety features like BLIS, the Escape stands far apart from more plainly presented crossover wagons.
The Ford Escape is a five-passenger compact crossover SUV that is offered in three different trim levels: S, SE and Titanium. The base model features 17” wheels (steel), MyKey parental controls, all power accessories, and an 8” touchscreen voice-activated command console with Synch command interface and Bluetooth/USB/iPod connectivity with a six-speaker audio system. Other trim levels will net you generous add-ons that include things like remote ignition, parking sensors, rails on the roof for luggage, automatic headlamps, keyless entry, tinted windows, powered front seats, two-zone automatic climate control, a standard 110-volt residential plug outlet, powered liftgate, leather upholstery, panoramic sunroof (powered) and larger wheels (18” or 19”), amongst a wide array of numerous other add-ons and upgrades that are currently offered by Ford. The Escape is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 168 horsepower and 167 pound-feet of torque. A beefier turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 178 hp and 184 lb-ft is available for the SE and Titanium trims. Ford backs the Escape with a 36-month/36,000-mile limited warranty.
