2015 model year changes

The Chrysler 200 gets a full redesign for 2015. Riding on a new Alfa Romeo platform, the new 200 shares very little with the car it replaces. New styling reveals a car that is much sleeker than previous models, while still very much identifiable as a Chrysler. The interior is all new, as is the new base engine for the 200 in 2015.

Special features for 2015

The Chrysler 200 competes in the very crowded midsized sedan class against some of the best-selling cars in America. The 200 stands up to heavyweights such as the Honda Accord and the Toyota Camry and will have to do everything it can to prove that it deserves a spot amongst those sales leaders. The 200 starts at under $22,000 and offers plenty of standard equipment at that price. The new chassis is much more modern and sophisticated than the one it replaces and offers all-wheel-drive and a bevy of safety features.
Wheel and all-wheel drivetrain variants, the 2015 Chrysler 200 is offered in five trim levels. The base LX model of the Chrysler 200 is equipped with automatic headlights, LED taillights, air conditioning with micron filter and a 60/40 split rear seat. Adding Uconnect Voice Command with Bluetooth connectivity and 17-inch aluminum wheels, the 2015 Chrysler 200 Limited also features a standard five-inch touchscreen display for operating the audio system. The 2015 Chrysler 200S model adds a sport tuned suspension, leather-wrapped steering wheel and 18-inch satin carbon aluminum wheels. The luxury-themed version of the 2015 Chrysler mid-sized vehicle, the 200C comes with standard rear auto-dimming mirror, universal garage opener, heated front seats and ParkView rear backup camera. There are two powerplant options offered on the 2015 Chrysler 200. Providing 184 horsepower and 173 pounds feet of torque of output, a 2.4 liter four-cylinder Multiair2 Tigershark is standard equipped on all front wheel drive models of the 2015 Chrysler 200. Available as an option on the 2015 Chrysler 200S and 200C front-wheel drive and standard on the all-wheel drive model, a 295-horsepower 3.6 liter Pentastar V-6 engine provides maximum performance for the mid-sized sedan. Both engines offered on the 2015 Chrysler 200 come standard equipped with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The 2015 Chrysler 200 will be offered in a selection of 11 exterior colors.
