New 2015 Chevrolet Impala Prices

Completely overhauled and redesigned, the tenth-generation Chevrolet Impala does indeed deliver as promised. A newer dashboard offers the 4.2” touchscreen (upgradeable to a larger size) Infotainment interface, which also can link your smartphone via Bluetooth and that features streaming music as well as satellite radio, in addition to onboard GPS navigation system. The four-cylinder engine makes 195 horsepower with 187 pound-feet of torque, but can be upgraded to a more robust V6 at 305 horsepower; a hybrid option found in the Impala eAssist is also available at an added cost. 18” wheels are standard across all three trim levels, as is keyless entry, OnStar, six-speaker sound system and automatic headlights. Upgrade to the Convenience package and you get a backup camera, larger touchscreen console and cargo net, amongst other options. The 60/40-split-folding back seats can offer added cargo room for days where you are transporting more items than usual. The included and limited factory warranty of just 3-years/36,000 miles is not enough to offer long term comfort, but can be upgraded at a reasonable cost. An all-around sedan, this car offers comfort, safety and convenience for an economical price.

Following a complete redesign last year, the 2015 Chevrolet Impala receives few major changes. Among them, stop/start technology is now standard on the 2.5L Ecotec engine, which improves city fuel economy by nearly 5 percent, to 22 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. Elsewhere, the 2.4L hybrid model with eAssist has been dropped from the lineup.

The Chevrolet Impala is a large sedan competing in the near-luxury segment. Starting at under $28,000, the Impala undercuts the price of many entry-level luxury cars while still offering plenty of luxury features. It also includes substantially more room than many buyers might be expecting, especially considering a price point similar to that of smaller, midsized cars. A major emphasis has been placed on build quality and interior refinement, improving comfort while reducing noise vibration and harshness.
