New 2015 Cadillac ELR Prices

With a number of major automakers creating hybrid cars, it makes sense that Cadillac (GM) would hop on board the bandwagon. The Cadillac ELR has the same 16.5-kilowatt lithium-ion battery pack as the Chevrolet Volt does, and also has the same four-cylinder engine at 1.4 liters. This hybrid actually has a powerful battery that can go as many as 37 miles on a single charge before utilizing the gas-powered engine to recharge. Of course, there’s no real comparison between the Volt and the ELR, by any means, as far as amenities are concerned. Only one trim level is offered in this two-door, four passenger car. Standard it includes 20” alloy wheels, parking sensors with backup camera, LED headlights, keyless entry and ignition, and the CUE (Cadillac User Experience) infotainment screen at 8”. A Bose surround sound system (10-speaker) is standard, as is the OnStar system and the collision warning system. As far as hybrids are concerned, few come as nicely stacked as this one does. And few look as sleek, either.
