2015 model year changes

The BMW 4-Series replaces the 3-Series coupe in BMWs lineup. While 3-Series sedans will keep their names, 3-Series coupes have dropped the "3" in favor of a "4." All 4-Series are now coupes, while all 3-Series are now sedans, though the two cars continue to be closely related and built on the same platform.

Special features for 2015

The BMW 4-Series is a stylish coupe that offers most of the performance and styling of a sports car without compromising too much comfort or practicality. It features sleek, low styling and is available in a few different body styles, including as a convertible. Performance is brisk, but ride and comfort have been carefully balanced to provide a driving experience that is both entertaining and somewhat luxurious. The BMW 4-Series competes with sedans and coupes such as the Audi A5, the Mercedes Benz C-Class and the Lexus IS. Prices start at just over $40,000.
BMW has bid ado to the popular 3 Series coupe and convertible, introducing the 4 Series as its replacement this year. A lower cabin and profile overall make the car appear to be far more sportier, with flared fenders that grab your attention and a character line that is omnipresent from front to back. This road hog comes with a standard turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 241-horsepower with 258 pound-feet of torque (upgradable to a 300 hp 3.0 liter V6 with far more horses under the hood). Choose from two trim levels, 428i and 435i, both with varying differences, and prices, for your interior and exterior trims. 17” wheels are standard with bright-as-day xenon headlights, power front seats, two-zone climate control, memory settings for drivers, foldable rear bench seats and a touchscreen with the iDrive electronics interface and driver assist, amongst other features. The four-year/50,000 mile warranty leaves something more to be desired for the price of this car. As far as entry-level luxury sports coupes go, though, it’s difficult to pass on this sweet ride for its price.
