Who says that three times is the charm? The Audi S6 begs to differ, a car entering its fourth generation. If speed is what you are after, look no further because this compact sedan delivers. The upgraded twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter engine offers a resounding 420 horses, but is not as fast as the V10 that was featured in the third generation edition. With 406 pound-feet of torque, there are few other cars in this class that can beat you pound-for-pound on any given Sunday. You’ll take heart with the comfy 7-speed auto-clutch with all-wheel drive, something that will give you plenty of shifting to do when cleaning house off the line. The adaptive air suspension (which can be sport-tuned optional) literally glides the car like it’s floating on air. Two popular, and equally as pricey, interior packages exist, with some minor differences between the already luxurious interior and the prices they are being offered at. You’ll love the rolling Wi-Fi, night vision, sports-tuned ceramic brakes that can stop on a dime and LED headlights that can actually adapt to different conditions. The built-in seat massagers are helpful but not really worth the maintenance. A voice and hand-recognizing GPS system is a little over the top. Then again, you get what you pay for.
