The Beetle is available with three different gasoline engine options; a standard 2.5-liter 5-cylinder engine (170 hp), an optional turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine (210 hp), and an optional 4-cylinder TDI engine (140 hp) . Transmission options consist of a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic, and 6-speed DSG® automatic.
