Special features for 2014

The Mercedes-Benz G-Class--otherwise known as the Gelandewagen (off-road vehicle) in German, is unique in the market. It features an old-school truck body-on-frame chassis and military credibility. Mercedes-Benz has given the G-Class extraordinary toughness for the trail, surprising comfort for freeway driving and luxury enough to hold its own at the country club. The G-Class starts at $114,200, but the G-Class's unique packaging and outstanding off-road credibility means there's no other way to get this type of vehicle.
The 2014 Mercedes-Benz G-Class is a luxury off-road capable five passenger SUV powered by a 5.5-liter V8 engine that produces 382 hp and 391 lb-ft of torque. The G550 comes with 4WD and a 7-speed automatic transmission that grants the SUV an EPA estimated 12 mpg city and 15 mpg highway. All available options come standard on the G-Class and safety features are comprised of 8-way airbag protection, anti-lock braking, brake assist, rear park assist, and 4-wheel electronic traction system. For those who crave AMG performance, G55 AMG (500 hp) and G63 AMG (544 hp) trim levels are available. All trim levels come standard with every available Mercedes-Benz option. G-Class is backed by a 4-year/50,000-mile warranty.
