See All Model YearsLearn MoreFor 2014, MINI prepares for a new phase of fusing classic design and 21st century technology with the debut of the third generation Cooper. Similar to a 2007 redesign of the MINI Cooper, the three-door hatchback hardtop inaugurates a new generation of styling and engineering. Featuring a longer, wider exterior appearance, the third generation MINI Cooper platform incorporates a larger interior, improved amenities and an enlarged front grille. Standard power for the 2014 MINI Cooper hardtop is derived from a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine boasting greater performance than the naturally-aspirated four-cylinder it replaces. A new twin-turbocharged 2014 Cooper hardtop S sports increased aggression led by 189 horsepower. Based on the second generation MINI Cooper platform, the convertible, coupe and roadster continues to be sold. Available with all-wheel drive, the 2014 MINI Paceman remains unchanged while the Countryman adds standard heated mirrors.
