2014 model year changes

Following minor styling revisions last year, and ahead of its replacement by the new Huracan, the 2014 Lamborghini Gallardo bows out with just one limited-edition model, the LP 570-4 Squadra Corse, a coupe inspired by the LP 570-4 Super Trofeo single-marque race series. It will be offered only in Giallo Midas (yellow) for $265,000. Just 15 cars will be available in the U.S. market.

Special features for 2014

The true value in the Lamborghini Gallardo rests along three lines: incredible, spine-tingling performance; a design that's a rolling work of art; and the kind of exclusivity that pads the personal image of those who already have everything. The Gallardo is a powerful, flashy, all-wheel-drive supercar, and it's among the fastest sports cars in the world, capable of topping 200 mph. The LP 570-4 Squadra Corse is the model's ultimate -- and final -- version.
Powered by a 5.2 liter ten-cylinder engine, the 2014 Lamborghini Gallardo remains a potent supercar. Available with a coupe or convertible Spyder body style, the 2014 Lamborghini Gallardo can ordered with two-wheel drive or four-wheel drivetrains. For 2014, the Lamborghini Gallardo is available in six trim levels. With an engine output of 550-horsepower, the 2014 Lamborghini Gallardo LP-550-2 coupe and LP-550-2 Spyder are two-wheel drive models paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Capable of speeds over 200 miles per hour with an engine output bumped to 560 horsepower, the four-wheel drive LP-560-4 Coupe and LP-560-4 Spyder models of the 2014 Gallardo is fitted with Lamborghini’s E-Gear automated manual transmission. The four-wheel drive version of the Lamborghini Gallardo receives a slightly reconfigured front and rear for the 2014 model year. A lightened version of the 2014 Lamborghini Gallardo, the LP-570-4 Superleggera use of carbon fiber allows 0 to 62 mile per hour acceleration times of 3.4 seconds to be accomplished while handling the vehicle. The 2014 Lamborghini Gallardo LP-570-4 Spyder Performante is similar to the Superleggera but provides open-air motoring. The 2014 Lamborghini Gallardo LP-570-4 Superleggera and LP-570-4 Spyder Performante are powered by a 570-horsepower version of the 5.2 liter engine. HID headlights, multiple airbags and a high-grade stereo system are standard on the 2014 Lamborghini Gallardo. At the end of 2013, the final 2014 Lamborghini Gallardo supercars have been produced to make way for its successor called the Huracan.
