Special features for 2014

Starting at $24,950 the Santa Fe Sport competes with other small SUVs such as the Ford Escape and Toyota RAV4. Meanwhile, the long-wheelbase Santa Fe is more competitive with mid-sized SUVs such as the Toyota Highlander, Honda Pilot and Nissan Pathfinder, and with its standard 290-horsepower V6, it offers more power than all of them. The Santa Fe Sport on the other hand features a standard 6-speed automatic, and at 71.5 cubic feet of rear cargo space, it bests competition such as the Toyota Venza and Ford Edge. With strong styling and a long list of available features, the Santa Fe and Santa Fe Sport are appealing options.
Fresh off of last year's redesign, the 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport is a mid-size crossover SUV with seating for five. Under the hood drivers will find a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 190 hp and 181 lb-ft of torque. For increased performance Hyundai offers an optional 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that yields 264 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are paired to the same 6-speed automatic transmission. Drivetrain options consist of standard FWD and optional AWD. Fuel mileage falls within an EPA estimated range of 20 mpg city to 33 mpg highway, depending on engine and drivetrain selection. Features include heated power side mirrors, power tilt-and-slide sunroof, LED brake lights, automatic climate control, leather interior, steering-wheel-mounted audio controls, 10-speaker sound system, touchscreen navigation system, and heated front seats. Safety is comprised of electronic stability control (ESC), traction control, anti-lock braking (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD), brake assist (BA), downhill brake control, dual front airbags, side-impact airbags, side-curtain airbags, and tire pressure monitoring. The Santa Fe Sport is backed by a 5-year/60,000-mile warranty.
