Ford has completely redesigned the Transit Connect for 2014. The new van is slightly bigger and much more versatile. In addition to brand new sheet metal from the ground up, the Transit Connect gets two new engine choices, both with excellent fuel economy. New for 2014, the Ford Transit Connect Wagon is a small commercial van with seating for five. The Transit Connect Wagon is available with a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 169 hp and 171 lb-ft of torque or an optional 1.6-liter 4-cylinder EcoBoost engine that produces 178 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque. FWD is paired to a 6-speed SelectShift automatic transmission to enable fuel mileage within an EPA estimated range of 20 mpg city to 28 mpg highway. Features include 180 degree rear cargo-doors, dual sliding doors, fog lamps, customizable cargo area, rear cargo-door pocket storage, seating for five, voice activated SYNC® and a rearview camera.
