2014 Cadillac XTS Values

Carried over for 2014, the Cadillac XTS is a full-size luxury sedan powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 304 hp, for a 0-60 time of 6.5 seconds. FWD (or optional AWD) is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission enables the XTS to achieve an EPA estimated 17 mpg city and 28 mpg highway. Features include dual-mode magnetic ride control, adaptive forward lighting, ambient interior lighting, tri-zone climate control, BoseĀ® sound, heated steering wheel, sunroof, and available navigation. Safety is comprised of ten standard airbags, automatic front/rear braking with radar detection technology, park assist with rearview backup camera, blind zone alert, electronic stability control (ESC), traction control (TCS), and tire pressure monitoring (TPMS). The XTS is backed by a 4-year/50,000-mile warranty.

On the heels of its 2013 debut, the Cadillac XTS sees a few updates. Chief among them is an optional new 410-hp turbocharged 3.6L V6, which is paired exclusively with all-wheel drive. Elsewhere, the XTS adds a front passenger seat memory feature, rear seat entertainment system and rear armrest with sunshade control and IntelliBeam headlamps, which deploy high beams when needed but turn them off when oncoming traffic is detected. Finally, front-wheel-drive models now feature electric power steering and automatic parking assist.

Starting at just under $45,000, the XTS competes with midsized luxury sedans from European manufacturers like BMW, Audi and Mercedes. The XTS offers more interior room and cargo space, however and the availability of a new 3.6L turbocharged V6 means the XTS can hold its own. Available all-wheel drive increases practicality and fits well with all the other impressive technologies available on the XTS.
