2014 model year changes

The CTS has been given a complete redesign for 2014. The car is essentially all new from the ground up. The 2014 CTS is longer and lower than the car it replaces, giving it a sportier stance. Extensive use of lightweight materials has ensured that weight remains in check-- Cadillac claims that the CTS is the lightest vehicle in its class. Two new turbocharged engines are also offered for 2014, one oriented toward outstanding fuel economy and the other toward excellent performance.

Special features for 2014

The Cadillac CTS is a mid-sized luxury sedan in competition with the 5-series BMW and the Mercedes Benz C-Class. Through extensive use of technology and chassis design, Cadillac is hoping to please both those looking for a pure luxury car and those who want a little bit more sport with their upscale sedan.
New for 2014, the Cadillac CTS Sedan is available with two different engines; a standard 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine (272 hp) and an optional 3.6-liter V6 engine (321 hp). A 6-speed automatic (optional 8-speed) transmission, mated to standard RWD (AWD optional), enables the CTS Sedan to achieve an EPA estimated 19 mpg city and 30 mpg highway. Features include 19-inch wheels, power sunroof, premium audio with surround sound, rear camera display, DVD entertainment system, leather seats, navigation, and LED taillamps. Safety is comprised of blind zone alert, advanced braking, adaptive forward lighting, StabiliTrak, advanced airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS), and tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). The CTS Sedan is backed by a 4-year/50,000-mile warranty.
