Special features for 2014

The Cadillac ATS competes with other compact luxury cars from BMW, Audi, Mercedes and Lexus. While previous efforts had focused on comfort over performance, the ATS represents a firm departure from this strategy, Cadillac opting to match BMW with a strong emphasis on rear-wheel-drive handling and a lightweight body structure. The ATS starts at about $33,000, undercutting the price of a 3-series BMW by about $3,000.
Carried over for 2014, the Cadillac ATS is a compact luxury sedan with sporty elements that make it a serious class competitor. Engine options consist of a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine (202 hp), 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine (270 hp), and a 3.6-liter V6 engine (320 hp). RWD, and optional AWD, are paired to a 6-speed automatic (or 6-speed manual transmission), enabling the ATS to achieve an EPA estimated range of 22 mpg city to 33 mpg highway. Features include surround sound, rearview backup camera, sunroof, sport suspension, and Brembo brakes. Safety is comprised of anti-lock braking (ABS), electronic brake distribution (EBD), advanced airbags, vehicle stability assist (VSA), and tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). The ATS is backed by a 4-year/50,000-mile warranty.
