2014 model year changes

The Bentley Flying Spur sedan, long part of the Continental model line, has been separated out into its own model line for 2014. Also this year (set to arrive late in the model year), a new Continental GT V8 S pushes the performance bar for Bentley V8 coupes and convertibles a step higher, with a new higher-output engine, a set of sporty cues and a full set of subtle but meaningful performance upgrades.

Special features for 2014

The Bentley Continental is part personal luxury coupe, part performance-oriented grand-tourer--and the specific combination of those traits depends largely on whether one opts for GT models or the edgier GT Speed. Bentleys are built to specification, with a long list of factory options, upgrades and trims, in addition to a bespoke program that lets buyers entirely customize the look, the only limit, is imagination, taste and budget. Regardless of materials or trims, the level of detail and craftsmanship is well above that of most other luxury cars.
New for 2014, the Bentley Continental Flying Spur is a full-size luxury sedan available in standard and Mulliner trim levels. Both trims are powered by a 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine that produces 616 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. Equipped with continuous all-wheel-drive and an 8-speed automatic transmission, the Continental Flying Spur achieves an EPA estimated 12 mpg city and 20 mpg highway. The Mulliner trim comes equipped with 21-inch wheels, treadplates, chrome details, alloy sports pedal, knurled sports gear lever. Features include bi-xenon headlights, keyless entry/ignition, LED taillights, 20-inch alloy wheels, full premium grade leather interior, heated seats with lumbar massage, infotainment system with DVD and navigation, and four-zone electronic climate control. Safety is comprised of 6 airbags and discrete braking and traction functions. The Flying Spur is backed by a 3-year/unlimited-mile warranty.
