Special features for 2014

BMW has always produced top-class sport sedans, coupes and wagons, and the all-new 3-Series Gran Turismo creates a new class of practicality and performance from European cars. The GT is impressive for both its athleticism and its utility: It boasts a 0?60 mph time of just 5.1 seconds and near-perfect weight distribution front to rear; it also features a longer wheelbase than the 3-Series sedan or wagon, which makes for more rear-seat legroom and additional cargo volume -- a total of 56.5 cubic feet, which is more than the carrying capacity of the 3-Series wagon. The car's handy split fold-down through-load rear seats make carrying bulkier items a snap.
A vehicle in its own class, the 2014 BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo is a twist on the standard 3 Series. BMW has equipped the vehicle with a hatchback-esque rear opening, making for unique overall styling. The 328i trim is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine (240 hp/255 lb-ft of torque) while the 335i is powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged I-6 engine (300 hp/300 lb-ft of torque). xDrive AWD is paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission for an EPA estimated range of 20 mpg city to 33 mpg highway, depending on engine selection. Features include premium sound, luxurious interior accents, navigation, automatic cruise control, and iPhone/iPod integration. Safety is comprised of dynamic stability control (DSC), enhanced braking, anti-lock braking (ABS), advanced airbags, and xenon adaptive headlights. The 3 Series Gran Turismo is backed by a 4-year/50,000-mile warranty.
