Carried over for 2014, the Acura TL is a mid-size luxury sedan with seating for five. Under the hood drivers will find a standard 3.5-liter V6 engine capable of producing 280 hp and 254 lb-ft of torque, for a 0-60 time of 6.4 seconds. For additional performance Acura offers an optional 3.7-liter V6 engine that yields 305 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque. The standard engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission while the optional 3.7-liter V6 has the option of a 6-speed manual transmission. Drivetrains consist of a standard FWD and optional AWD, enabling the TL to achieve fuel mileage within an EPA estimated range of 17 mpg city to 29 mpg highway. A special trim edition is available with a rear lip spoiler, keyless access with push-button start, contrast stitching, and 18-inch wheels.
