Now available with a Sport trim, the 2013 Volkswagen Eos hardtop convertible is equipped with FWD. The Eos is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces 200 hp and 207 lb-ft of torque. Available drivetrains are limited to FWD and a 6-speed DSG® transmission enables the Eos to achieve an EPA estimated fuel mileage of 22 mpg city and 30 mpg highway. Safety is comprised of front airbags, intelligent crash response, anti-lock braking (ABS), brake pad wear indicator, anti-slip regulation (ASR), electronic brake distribution (EBD), electronic stability control (ESC), hydraulic brake assist (HBA), electronic differential lock and engine braking assist (BA). For 2013, Volkswagen has expanded the Eos lineup to now include a Sport model. The Sport model slots between the Komfort and Lux models and as its name implies, it is more performance oriented than other Eos' available for 2013.
